Should We Be Sharing Our Location in Relationships?

It’s 2019 and people are more connected than ever before. So much so, that not only can I watch an updated recap of someone’s life every 24 hours, I can even see where someone is at a given time. As progressive as that is, the question still stands, is this healthy for modern-day relationships?

How I Stopped A Revolving Door of Failed Relationships: The Big Four

In today’s world, dating and finding love seems harder to find than ever before. How ironic, considering you can swipe left and right on potential suitors from the comfort of your own bed at 3 in the morning! It’s insane that even when our options seem unlimited, a majority of us aren’t able to have meaningful relationships. Dating is hard to say the least!

My First Blog Post (Woah)

If you’re reading this I will start by telling you that we are not so different, in fact I am almost certain that we share a LOT in common. I can guess that you go through stages in life where you sacrifice at least one of these every single day.

  1. Communication & quality time with loved ones.

  2. Pursuing a career that doesn’t just pay the bills.

  3. Feeling like you have time to get your life together.

  4. Relaxation and enjoying the little things.

If you got to the end of that list and said “I haven’t sacrificed any of those things…ever,” then congratulations! You won at life! But realistically,  for most of us we are not so fortunate.

Hi! Welcome to my blog, I am going to be touching on quite a few topics that center around those four up there in one way or another. I will be sharing with you a lot of pivotal moments in my life where I was either sacrificing one of those consistently or even all four. I’ll also explain how I figured out the right balance to get myself back on track with managing all of those.

If I were to go back about 5 years I never would have imagined all of the stuff that was going to happen to me during that time frame. Though some of it was definitely a huge burden to me, I still would not have the insight I have today without the experience.

It’s October of 2018. I am a 21-year-old who lives in her own apartment, owns her own car, has a full-time job, is going to be pursuing journalism and is above all else happy. I cannot wait to share how I got to this point in my life with you guys, and I am stoked for the future.

For those of you that will be reading along and following me on this journey, I will be posting new content every other day! Thank you for your support!
