10 Goals for April

Yay, it’s April! Spring is here and the warmer weather is just right around the corner for most people! Honestly, I believe the best way to start out a month is with a list of goals. Especially because when you write your goals down they increase your commitment to them. Time for me to commit and share what they are!

Buy Makeup Basics

I’ve been watching a lot of makeup related videos lately and have been itching to put what I learned to the test. However, I went a couple of months where I stopped wearing makeup….sooo….I barely have anything. I’m planning to buy a beauty blender, primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer, contour, highlight, eyshadow, baking powder, setting spray and an eyebrow pencil. I already have eyeliner and mascara, so that is why those aren’t included.

Do Laundry Once a Week

Okay, before you go thinking that I don’t do my laundry, I promise I do. Since I left my apartment I started this habit of doing it once a week, but I fell off a little. It’s been 2 weeks since I did it, so I mainly want to just get back on track. That would make me feel a lot better about my life because right now, I just feel a little messy in everything. Boo. 😦

Fix My Headlight

My headlight is just as wonky as my life right now. Most of the time it doesn’t turn on. But sometimes, just sometimes, it turns on! I changed the light already but I am pretty sure it’s a wiring issue or something. I just need to go to a mechanic to see what the issue really is and then pay to get it fixed. Yay.

Read a Book

I can truthfully say I don’t think I have read an actual book since I graduated. HAHA. Damn, that’s so disappointing. Granted I still read things, I would like to actually read an entire book this month. (Insider secret: I eventually want to get to a point where I am reading more than one book every single month. Woah! Baby steps.)

Return Some Clothing

In my What Happened to March post, I mentioned that I bought a bunch of things from JustFab. I loved most of it but there were a couple of things that weren’t the right size or didn’t look as good as I pictured. I have printed the labels to return them……but now I have to drag myself to the post office and send it back. Easy enough…right?

Get a Gym Membership

My best friend and I have been talking about how we would LOVE to lose weight. Both of us have similar body types so it would be ideal to do it together. You know, for motivation and what not. She already has one so now I just need to look into gyms and choose one that will work the best for me, since she has one that allows her to go to any gym.

Prep & Mail Mother’s Day Gift

I have a super amazing Mother’s Day Gift Idea and I am so excited to start putting it together. (Mother, don’t try and guess what it is because you can’t!) Anyways, there’s a few things I have to figure out first and then I have to mail it in time. It HAS to be done by the end of this month because I would hate for it to show up late. I’ll make a separate post about it also for those of you who need a gift idea.

Reach 1,200 Views

Last month I made a goal to reach 1,000 views and I succeeded!!! The total amount of views ended up being 1,035 views and I really want to keep going. So this month, I am going to shoot for 1,200 views. I’m a little nervous about this but I think that with some perseverance I can accomplish this. I also made a Pinterest recently so that should help out a little!

Meet With an Academic Adviser

Ugh, I said this in my last goals post for March and I was actually really disappointed that I did not do this. I’m really going to try and push myself to do it this month. It sounds stupid but I get really bad anxiety when I even think about going. It’s ridiculous and I’m going to be so annoyed when it ends up not being that bad. Anyways, goals. I got this.

Make 2 New Home Cooked Meals

I constantly make the same meals over and over and over. They are extremely basic. I want to add 2 new meals to the ones I already cook so it’ll spice things up a little. At some point I would like 10-14 meals that I can cook so that it’s not always the same thing. I have pressured my boyfriend into giving me ideas several times and I think we’ll figure it out eventually.

I’m excited to accomplish all of these goals this month and hopefully inspire someone to make some goals of their own. Hopefully you have accomplished all of your goals so far this year and if you haven’t, keep pushing for them. You can do it! ❤

  1. My mom gets a big Scentsy gift basket from me every Mother’s Day along with a potted plant that she’ll let die within a month😂. And a book I would recommend is The Handmaid’s Tale!

    1. Ah yes those are all good things to be consistent on. I added gym membership in there and read a book to focus on my mental health and body health. Thanks for reading!
