With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I found it fitting to do a post that centered around date ideas! I’m talking the whole sha-bang…Gift Ideas, Dinner Plans and Activities to do!
$$$$ – The Melting Pot, Benihana
Both are fun and provide a classy experience. One is fondue appetizers, entrees and desserts & the other is your whole meal cooked right in front of you. A very interactive experience either way!
$$$ – Joe’s Crab Shack, (Or any local Crab Shack)
I am personally a huge fan of getting crab for any special occasion. Why not for Valentine’s Day too!
$$ – Olive Garden, Red Lobster
Both of these options can fit well into the budget and give a very good “Wine & Dine” experience. You’re sure to impress. (Plus, who doesn’t love either of these places? Exactly.)
$$ – Chili’s, Red Robin, AppleBee’s
These options aren’t going to provide a “candle-lit experience” but they offer really great food options for a very affordable price. Don’t knock them until you try them! (Did I mention they all have amazing specials for full course meals!?)
Make a Basket for Her!
These baskets are always so much fun to make, maybe its because I’m a girl and this stuff excites me. Almost all of these items can be bought at the Dollar Store, it’ll show you put thought into the gift and she gets some things that make her feel good!
- Small bottles of wine
- Nail Polish (3 different colors and a clear coat)
- Face Masks
- Body Mist
- Bath Bomb
- Wine Glass
- Fluffy Socks
- Pedicure Brush
- Favorite candy
- Miscellaneous Chocolate
Make a Basket for Him!
Guys are fairly easy to please, which makes these baskets so easy to make. Best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach but don’t forget that men also like to be pampered from time to time.
- Bags of favorite chips
- Favorite Candy
- Sports Team Items
- Lottery Tickets
- Items to make their favorite recipe
- Beef Jerky
- Coke Can & Whiskey
- Coca-Cola Glass
- Lotion (Men’s)
- Good shower scrubber
A Basket to Share!
The whole point of Valentine’s Day is to spend it with someone you love. Whether its friends, family or a significant other this Movie Basket is a great idea! Enjoy a night in together with all of your favorite snacks & candy.
- Beef Jerky
- Favorite Chocolate
- Favorite Sweet Candy
- Popcorn Seasoning
- Coke Glasses
- Popcorn Bucket
- Movie/s of choice!
Of course when it comes to gifts, maybe a basket isn’t your style. Some other classic gifts would be chocolate, stuffed animals, jewelry, watches, flowers, clothes, etc. Do what feels right!
$$$ – Dave & Buster’s
This is fun no matter what. You get to compete against each other, work together, earn tickets and get prizes. It’s thrilling and you can also eat and drink here too. All in one!
This is a great way to get competitive! The great thing about bowling is many places have a certain time they turn out the lights and play music!
Honestly, a movie seems like something you only do for a “first date” but it’s also a great idea for Valentine’s Day! Also, the Local Drive In is a phenomenal way to change it up!
For those of you looking to do something special for this holiday I hope some of these ideas helped. Whether you’re in a relationship, single or have something planned with friends/family there are plenty of ways to celebrate it with people you love!
