Time to Break the Silence!

Since my trip from Vegas I’ve been going through some hurdles! The trip was amazing but then life decided to throw some curve balls my way. I’m sure you all can relate. My posting definitely took the back seat but I will say that I am looking forward to being consistent again! When I can I promise to do more! I might as well catch you up on a few things, even if it has only been 2 ½ weeks.

Since my trip from Vegas I’ve been going through some hurdles! The trip was amazing but then life decided to throw some curve balls my way. I’m sure you all can relate. My posting definitely took the back seat but I will say that I am looking forward to being consistent again! I will be posting about 2-3 times a week. When I can I promise to do more! I might as well catch you up on a few things, even if it has only been 2 ½ weeks.

For starters, I still haven’t been able to get over being sick since my trip. While I was in Vegas I had a bit of a cough and was mostly congested. Once I got back I was barely even coughing, I figured the insane amount of medicine I took worked! I soon came to find out that I was very wrong. This week was the worst! I had a menacing cough, my head was in an immense amount of pain, I had some pretty bad issues with my asthma and I had a fever. I am feeling a bit better, but I’m hoping it isn’t a fluke like last time. Make sure to drink lots of water, wash your hands and get lots of Vitamin C!!

Second, I started to apply for school!!! Ahh, I’m really excited about this one. It’s been a little over a year since I graduated and I started to get this feeling that if I didn’t go now that I might never go back. I know I’m not alone with that thought! If you took some time admissionfor yourself after high school and have been looking for a sign to go back to school, then here it is! I’m not saying you have to enroll right away but often times the hardest part is getting the ball rolling; I know that was my struggle. Submit an application, get your transcripts sent over, start looking around your school’s website, find a couple courses you are interested in, see what social clubs they have. I promise that just by doing these things, it will make you excited and eager to do more!

Since this is an update of the last couple weeks I would find it unfair to not share with you something that happened fairly recently. I got into a relationship with a great guy named Derrick. We’ve known each other for a little while and I look forward to sharing some of our experiences with you guys! But I won’t go on and on about him right now, instead please enjoy this lovely little photo of us.

Well that’s it! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me. I have officially broken my blogging hiatus and I hope that you will continue to read my future posts. Oh, I will also be incorporating a page where you can submit questions/blog ideas and I will post about them. Just a little something to look forward to! Thanks for reading!
